Officer Elections

 Please keep in mind the individual duties of each office and that each of the officers will be planning and implementing all Student Council events and class events for this year. The duties of Class officers are listed below.   

 

The Voting will take place on a Google Form which will be sent to every student via email. Tentatively, the election is on Friday, August 28, 2026. You will have first period to cast your vote. The link to the ballot will be emailed that morning.

 Campaign Rules

  • You may begin campaigning once you have submitted your application.   

  • All posts, posters, etc must be approved in advance by Ms. Russell. You can text her a photo of your campaign piece at 843-367-1292.

  • At no time can any of your campaign material reflect negatively on your opponents or on R.B. Stall High School.  

  • You must focus on what YOU have to offer Stall High School and Stall HS Student Council.    

  • SOCIAL MEDIA - you may use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.  Please keep in mind that you must monitor your social media.  You will be responsible for removing anything negative posted on your page.  Nothing should have a negative reflection on another candidate, yourself or Stall High School. If your social media reflects poorly on Stall HS or Student Council, you may be disqualified from running.  Please make sure your post are noncontroversial, non-offensive and tasteful. If you make a campaign account, you must follow Stall HS Student Council on Twitter (@RBStallStuCo) , Instagram (@rbshswarriors), and on Snapchat (@shswarriors).

Co-Presidents

The role of the R.B. Stall High School Student Council Co-President is:

​

  • To Schedule and preside over all meetings of SGA;

  • To Call special meetings with the approval of the advisor;

  • To Maintain the Student Council Website;

  • To Remind responsible parties of action items in advance of the meeting;

  • To Check to see that all participants for the meetings are notified; 

  • To Recruit Committee Chairs, Vice Chairs and members; 

  • To Represent the student voice to the faculty, staff, administration and community; 

  • To Host the Warrior Board;

  • To Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting;

  • In the case of a tie vote, to cast one block vote to break the tie; and 

  • To Be responsible for all activities of SGA, which includes but is not limited to Homecoming, Coming Home, Blood Drives, and Spring Jam.

Student Council
First Vice President

 

The role of the R.B. Stall High School First Vice-President is:

​

  • To Assist the Co-Presidents in every way possible;

  • To Conduct Student Council meetings if Co-Presidents are unavailable;

  • To Check on the representatives to make sure that they are reporting to their assigned committees;

  • To Arrange for the meeting place and the physical setting of the room;

  • To Lead the Warrior Board;

  • To Meet with all committee chairpersons to review progress on activities and /or projects;

  • To Chair the Judiciary Committee;

  • To Inform the president if visitors wish to be placed on the agenda;

  • To Conduct all club charting activities; 

  • To Host the Services and Activities Fair; and

  • To Fulfill other assigned duties.

Student Council
Second Vice President

 

The role of the R.B. Stall High School Second Vice-President is: 

​

  • To Assist the Co-Presidents in every way possible;

  • To Represent Student Council on the Warrior Board;

  • To Chair the Community Service Projects Committee;

  • To Host the Blood Drives;

  • To Work with Co-Presidents to conduct the Fall Festival Zombie Run and the Spring Jam's Warrior Fit Challenge;

  • To Focus on helping the project chairs or serve as the project chairs for the community service projects; and

  • To Fulfill other assigned duties.

Student Council Recording Secretary

The role of the R.B. Stall High School Secretary is:

​

  • To Keep the roll and attendance record of the members of the SGA;

  • To Report to the Judiciary Committee when any representative has missed three meetings;

  • To Serve as Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee;

  • To Represent Student Council on the Warrior Board;

  • To Keep the minutes of the meetings;

  • To Give a copy of the minutes to the advisors no later than one day after the meeting and reads them before the body at the following meeting;

  • To Maintain copies of committee reports and assignments; 

  • To Keep records and file cabinet in neat order;

  • To Fulfill all correspondence for SGA by typing and sending letters, calling people over the phone, and creating announcements;

  • To Post notices of special meetings, to include place and time; and
  • To Fulfill other assigned duties.

Student Council Historian

The role of the R.B. Stall High School Historian is:

​

  • To Serve as Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee;

  • To Maintain the Student Council Website;

  • To Maintain and to promote the Student Council social media;

  • To Record via photos and videos the activities of the Student Council;

  • To Create an Annual Slide Deck of all major Student Council Activities

  • To Work with Committee Chairs to advertise and to record their work;

  • To Maintain folders of photos and videos for future marketing;  

  • To create and publish a bi-monthly newsletter for teachers and staff about Student Council activites;

  • To Provide written contact via the Student Council website and social media with the faculty, students, and administration;

  • and Fulfills other assigned duties.

Class Offices

Class Presidents

  • Schedule and preside over all class meetings in conjunction with the administration and class advisor;

  • Represent the Class on the Warrior Board;

  • Represent the Class on the Student Council;

  • Represent the Class on the Student Council Prom Committee (senior and junior only); 

  • Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting;

  • Be responsible for all activities of the Class, which includes but is not limited to the Class Socials, Prom (senior and junior class only); Student Council Class Competitions, and Class Events.

Class Vice President

  • Assist the Class President in every way possible;

  • Represent your Class on the Warrior Board;

  • Represent your Class on the Student Council;

  • Represent the Senior/Junior Class on the Student Council Prom Committee; 

  • Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting;

  • Inform the president if visitors wish to be placed on the agenda; and

  • Fulfill other assigned duties.

Class Historian

  • Assist the Class President in every way possible;

  • Represent your Class on the Warrior Board;

  • Represent your Class on the Student Council;

  • Maintains a record of photos and videos on Class Activities to Class Members via a Class Website, Google Classroom, and Social Media;

  • Serves on the Public Relations and Marketing Committee;

  • Attend SCASC's District Rally, camp, State Rally, or SASC regional meeting; and

  • Fulfill other assigned duties.
